Kyle Galloway, PE, is a licensed civil engineer with 15 years of experience designing and managing public works projects. He earned his BS in Civil Engineering from LSU in 2009 after transferring from Tulane University due to Hurricane Katrina, an experience which defined his professional life and led him to his career of advancing stormwater management and hurricane risk reduction projects. He currently works as a Senior Project Manager for GIS Engineering. Mr. Galloway served for 13 years in the Louisiana Army National Guard as an engineer officer. His military experience included deployments to Kuwait and Haiti and response to disasters including the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and the historic flooding of 2016. He lives in Algiers (across the street from the Mississippi River Levee) with his wife Catherine and three children.
