Stephen P. Gauthé is currently employed by the U.S. Department of Energy at the Strategic Petroleum Reserve as the Inventory Manager on the Crude Oil Management Team. He has a B.S. in Accounting from UNO and an MBA from Tulane University. In 2007, he was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the Army and spent the following three years on active duty including Airborne School and a 12-month tour in Iraq as the Executive Officer of an Infantry Rifle Company. Other military assignments include Commander of the 441st Combat Engineer Company and Operations Officer at the 412th Theater Engineer Command. He has extensive experience managing complex military engineering missions and exercises overseas as well as significant procurement, contracting, finance and auditing experience in both the government and private sector.
