The West Closure Complex (WCC) is the largest sector gate in our system and provides protection to all of Algiers and Belle Chasse, as well as the most populated areas of West Jefferson to Westwego. Like all of our sector gates, the WCC is regularly inspected, exercised, and maintained to help ensure a system that works as designed when needed.
