Jim WilkinsonMr. Wilkinson is a strong believer that as we mature we should give back to the community. With that view he offered to serve as a Commissioner of the Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority – West. Previously he was a board member of Baptist Community Ministries for nine years. He continues to be a board member of the Metropolitan Crime Commission, the New Orleans Police and Justice Foundation, Christian Health Ministries and Global Maritime Ministries where he is currently Chairman. He has been active in his church for many years.

Mr. Wilkinson’s professional life in the Oil and Gas industry provided vast experience as a drilling engineer, production engineer, drilling superintendent, operations manager, and a corporate officer of a major company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Currently Mr. Wilkinson provides consulting and engineering services related to oil and gas exploration and production issues on operations, insurance, and litigation support.

He is a recognized expert in mobile offshore drilling unit (MODU) and platform drilling rig design, construction, planned maintenance, support services, and operation. In addition, Mr. Wilkinson also has many years of experience in project management, contract performance and safe drilling practices.

Jim has testified in Federal Courts, State courts and in Arbitration Proceedings.
