Patrick Nunes is a seasoned technology governance, risk, and compliance leader with over 12 years of experience spanning cybersecurity, enterprise risk management, and financial oversight. He currently serves as Senior Manager of Cyber Governance & Risk at Mondelez International, where he leads enterprise-wide IT risk assessments and manages cross-functional teams responsible for technology assurance, third-party risk, and compliance reporting to executives. Prior to his current role, Patrick led technology due diligence and integration efforts for mergers and acquisitions and spent several years in risk consulting, managing regulatory compliance engagements and working closely with executives to implement frameworks aimed at reducing risk exposure.

Patrick holds a Master of Science in Finance from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida, and has earned certifications including Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation. Patrick currently resides in Gretna, Louisiana, with his wife and two kids. He brings a unique combination of financial acumen, technology expertise, and executive-level risk communication skills to his role as Commissioner on the Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority – West Bank board.
