MARRERO, La. (Oct. 10) – Following Hurricane Delta, the SLFPA-W Emergency Operations Center will be deactivated today, Saturday, October 10 at 11:00 a.m. There were no negative impacts to the SLFPA-W area of jurisdiction as a result of the storm.
The SLFPA-W system reopening has been completed. As of 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 10, all land-based gates have been returned to their default position. The Harvey Canal and Bayou Segnette sector gates will remain closed, but SLFPA-W will continue to monitor the levels and anticipate opening them later in the day on Saturday, October 10.
