The latest track from the National Weather Service has Tropical Storm Cindy making landfall on the Western part of the state. The entire Louisiana coast is under a Tropical Storm warning. Impacts to the SLFPA-W’s jurisdiction will entail four to eight inches of rain with a potential of 12 to 15 inches in isolated areas through Thursday. Tides will be one to four feet above normal. In all likelihood, the Bayou Segnette sector gate will be closed tomorrow. However, at this time, we do not expect to close the West Closure Complex for this event.
